Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established on 29.07.2013, in the institute with Dr. Gouri Sankar Sahu (Principal) as the Chairman. It works towards realizing the goals of Quality enhancement & sustenance.

Various parameters are considered for Quality enhancement and monitoring of those parameters is done through monthly reports. Some of the important parameters considered by IQAC for implementation in the Institute are as follows:
(A) Academics
1. Conduction of tutorials properly.
2. Conducting course coordinators meetings regularly for uniformity.
3. Conducting Workshops every Semester related to Core subjects of that Semester.
4. Procurement of library books.
5. Quality of assignments and question papers.
6. Lesson plan verification by HOD.
7. Analysis and follow up action on internal exam of students.
8. Conducting a faculty meeting every month.
9. Conducting a staff meeting every month.
10. Conduction of faculty orientation lecture every month.
11. Conduction of various committee meetings
(B) Student Development Activities
1. Conduction of Seminars.
2. Conduction of GDs.
3. Meetings conducted by various committees in which students are members. (Quality Circles)
4. Participation of students in sports & other hobby clubs.
5. Counseling.
6. Professional society activities.
(C) Industry-Related Activities
1. Guest lectures by industrial experts.
2. Industrial visits and tours.
3. Other industry related activities to be conducted by the departments with the support of the IRP.
(D)Research
1. Publications.
2. Planning for Excellency centre in every department.
3. Planning for International Conference.
4. Consultancy.
5. Innovation and entrepreneurship cell.
6. Faculty deputed to Workshops / Seminars / Conferences outside the Institute.
